3 to Try – This Winter in Chelsea

What’s new and innovative in the area? There’s always something in and around Chelsea!

Here are 3 we think you’ll enjoy:

A new flagship design store – and cafe – in Chelsea Market:

“Chef John Doherty, who helmed the kitchen at the Waldorf-Astoria in it’s glory years for more than two decades, has created a warm and inviting menu which includes dishes like Grilled Tuna Nicoise, Wild Mushroom Toast, and the Mission Fig Pizza. All of the tableware, flatware, glasses and linens used in the café were hand-selected and designed by the BLACKBARN team and will be available for sale in the shop.”

Bouley (at Home & Test Kitchen)

Chef David Bouley’s empire, which also comprises Brushstroke Restaurant in Tribeca, has a culinary event space and an innovative restaurant in the Flatiron District, just a 5 minute walk from The Vanguard.

Bouley Test Kitchen “serves as an elegant event space, an interactive classroom, and a state-of-the-art culinary laboratory”, while Bouley at Home is described by the Chef as “More than the experience of a restaurant – an immersive and educational community of health and nutrition, ‘Living Pantry’ and ‘Building Blocks’ that define taste and happiness.”
