A New Healthy – and Fast – Choice in Chelsea

Rouge Tomate Cafe recently opened, bringing Chelsea another option for healthy food choices – this time focused on getting it fast.

This is a new offering at Rouge Tomate Chelsea (just an 8-minute walk from The Vanguard Chelsea) whose mission has always been to “focus on health and sustainability while never compromising taste”.

Located at 126 West 18th Street (Between 6th and 7th Avenues), the new cafe has breakfast, lunch and dinner in a fast-casual, counter service format.

Some of their dishes:

    • (Breakfast:) Creamy Oats with cultured cream, cinnamon sugar, pecans and seasonal jam, Charred Avocado Sandwich with pickled chiles, radish, sprouts and sunflower miso
    • (Lunch:) Bison Burger with salsa verde, gem lettuce, avocado and charred red onion, Roasted Cauliflower “Caesar” with seaweed, lemon, Treviso, frisée and smoked almonds
