Experience Bach: Chelsea Music Festival Returns for its 9th Year

Beginning Friday, Chelsea will be a hub of musical enjoyment with the return of The Chelsea Music Festival.

This year celebrates J. S. Bach’s 333rd birthday with the theme “Bach 333: Master of Adoration, Variation, and Transformation”:

“The Festival programming invites audiences to ‘hear, taste, see’ as Festival  musicians,  chefs,  and  visual  artists explore  the  profound  output  of  Bach’s  work  and  play  on  the ideas  of  variation,  transformation  as  well as  the  number  three.”

It’s the festival’s 9th season and it encompasses 9 days of events at 6 Chelsea locations.

Take in the sights, sounds and scrumptiousness from June 8-16, beginning with the cheekily-named opening night: “There’s No Holding Bach“, which features a concert and concludes with a “themed reception by Chef Eric Takahashi where audience members can mingle with Festival artists”.
