Noteworthy in Chelsea: Fashion and Food

Chelsea is a wonderful neighborhood chock full of fantastic art, decor, food and fashions. 

ABC News, CBC News and Chelsea Now recently spotlighted some Chelsea treasures.

ABC News’ “3 New Spots In New York For Home Decor” recommends Pearl River Mart‘s newest outpost at Chelsea Market.

“At this location, expect to find a wide variety of Chinese home decor and lifestyle goods. Look for ceramics and tableware, including bowls and chopsticks; clothing for men and women, including traditional dresses like the cheongsam (also known as qipao); Buddha statues and bamboo; and a range of snacks.”

 

CBC recent named Chelsea’s modern Asian restaurant, Buddakan, in its “Best Egg Rolls In NY: From Traditional To  Modern” – selecting the popular “Lobster egg rolls stuffed with shrimp, Thai basil and sweet chili.”

And Chelsea Now, in “Food for Thought from the GVCCC: Unforgettable Edibles as Unique as Chelsea“, mentions Cha Cha Matcha, Wisefish Poké and Chelsea Market’s Doughnuttery which “takes their one-of-a-kind donuts very, very seriously. Each one of is fresh, made-to-order, and guaranteed to add a splash of variety to your daily routine.”
